Every ticket is a collectible
A raffle ticket on ARKHIVE is an NFT. Each week, a random draw that anyone can check narrows the field, until a final draw picks the winners. Tickets that go out stay in your wallet as collectibles.
One raffle, one month
1,000 tickets. 10 prizes.
Each ticket costs $20 and is an NFT you can resell. The 10 prizes are worth $20,000 in total, so every ticket starts with a 1% chance.
Half the tickets burn
A random draw that anyone can check burns 50% of the tickets. 500 are left, and each one now has a 2% chance.
250 left. 4% each.
The same prizes are now shared by fewer tickets, so each ticket still in carries more of the prize pool and can trade higher on the marketplace.
125 left. 8% each.
A ticket bought for $20 on day 1 now has $160 of prize pool behind it.
10 winners
The final draw picks the winners from the last 125. Burned tickets stay in their owners’ wallets as collectibles.
Example figures. Market prices are set by buyers and sellers. Prize pool per ticket is the prize pool divided by the tickets still in.
H3O × UFC fight-card raffle
1,500 sealed fight-card packs. Every card is a different UFC fight and is also an entry. Each week the field narrows, until a final draw picks the winners of 15 UFC experiences.
In development. Figures are illustrative and final terms are set at launch.
How a draw works
Weekly cuts, then a final draw
Buy a ticket
Your ticket is an NFT. While it is still in, you can resell it on the marketplace, and its chance goes with it.
Weekly cuts
At each weekly cutoff, a random draw decides which tickets stay in. The list of tickets and the results are published.
Final draw
The last draw picks the winners from the tickets still in.
Claim your prize
Winners redeem with a single-use code. If you sell before redeeming, the code moves to the buyer.
Vault
Prizes stay in the vault
Physical prizes are kept in the ARKHIVE vault, so they can change owner without shipping.
| Option | What happens | After |
|---|---|---|
| Keep it in the vault | The item stays in the vault and changes owner with the NFT. | Can be sold any time |
| Ship it home | ARKHIVE ships the item. You keep the ticket as a collectible. | No longer sold |
| Sell it back | The vault buys it back and lists it again. | Back on the market |
Rules
Fair by design
Random, and checkable
Each cut uses a random draw recorded on the blockchain, so anyone can verify it.
A short pause at each cutoff
Tickets can be sold any time, except between a cutoff and its result. A ticket that is still in carries its chance to the buyer.
Out is not lost
Tickets that go out stay collectibles in your wallet and can still be sold.
